Yom Huledet Sheli!

Hellooo everyone! I made it through Yom Kippur, which means I'm not just still alive but also 25 hebrew years old! This is a nice way to end an otherwise pretty frustrating week. Not that there hasn't been good to accompany the bad, I have a cell phone(!!!!), I have a surfboard (!!!!!!) and I l-o-v-e my classes. But among the bad, is that my computer, though I dropped it off to have its "visual hiccuping" issue cured on Thursday, remains at the repair shop and will not be returned to me until - hopefully - tomorrow. This is a classic of British society, their supply chain and logistics is not customer friendly. I may have mentioned this before, but restaurants cheerfully run out of menu items, stores run out of stock, bank ATMs RUN OUT OF CASH, all completely unapologetically. However, in this particular instance the failure of the supply chain means a couple of things, first, all the many many delightful pictures I took this week cannot yet be uploaded and second, that I am reduced to using the computer lab. Even so, I would still soldier on and write you all a full length blog, but this kid just walked in, sat back down at his computer and has for the past few minutes, been chewing his gum with his mouth open. Really, really loudly. So for the sake of my sanity and a higher quality of blog (with pictures!) my full update will have to be posted tomorrow once my computer has been returned to me.

Love and miss you.
